This floor measurement calculator works for laminate, engineered wood, vinyl plank and other flooring sold by area per pack. Enter the actual coverage shown on the packaging; do not estimate it from plank dimensions when the retailer already supplies a pack figure.
A 4 m × 3 m floor is 12 m². Adding 10% gives 13.2 m². If each pack covers 2 m², buy 7 packs, providing 14 m². At £25/m², those packs cost about £350.
